Custom C2 Corvette Bubble top “The Scarab” Mostly scratchbuilt car. Main body is the Revell 63 Corvette Stingray snap kit. It has been an extremely shortened. the roof removed a new top created to match up with the original Revell parts pack bubble top. It has been mounted to the scratch built chassis Back to front. The interior tub was completely scratch built. Parts box seats, steering wheel, phone and gearshift. The dashboard was also scratch built. The tub was flocked with gold flocking. The tires front and back are 3D printed on My Elegoo Saturn printer and painted with Tamiya rubber black. Both the front and rear wheels were resin cast by me. The engine file was found on Cults 3D and printed by me. The rear taillight/bumper assembly is from a 1960’s Amt parts pack. The front grill is a very heavily modified Monogram 57 Chevy front bumper that was narrowed, turned upside down and the top part was scratch built. The headlight in the grill is a parts box item and the tooth grill is again from a 1960’s parts pack. The main asymmetric headlight on top of the front end is made up from a Monogram 57 Chevy headlight housing and the bucket is completely scratch built front epoxy putty. The car is painted with SMS paints colour shift extreme Cosmic Dust over a black base.
